HI guys can anyone help me - want to buy some new ht leads - I have a XU9JA engine (1988) but on Eurocarparts the only ones listed are for a XU9JAZ engine - are they the same or different ? or can anyone else recommend any other places to get them ? I only want to spend 20 quid or so ! My Distributer cap is screw on version. Also relating to spark plugs do bosch super 4's make any difference or are just the standard ones satisfactory ? Cheers !

Bog standard NGK's will suffice for the plugs, nice and cheap and very good quality, most places stock them too.

 

Last set of plug leads I got were on the shelf at GSF, they were Beru items at £24 IIRC

 

They came with both early and late type king leads, I believe their part number is 926PC0090 but pop into your local branch or give them a ring.
