Delimiting 8V Ecu

Recommended Posts

I've got an Mi16 engine and i'm on 8v management so I still have the rev limiter at 6.5k . I need to get it delimted. Is this something you can do yourself? If not where can I get it done?

Honestly? Bin the 8v loom and get it on proper mi16 management. It will become a completely different car when you do. The looms are easy to sort, a search will bring up what you need to do to mate the 8v and 16v loom together.

If it's a 1.9 ecu remarkably easy to remove rev limit (and many occur on auction sites for daft money! - don't get sucked in))
