106 / Saxo Electric Pas Pump Kw Rating

Hi

 

Does anyone know what power consumption the 106 / Saxo electric power steering pump is rated at. I want to make sure that when I modify the loom I install the correct sized cables.

not sure what its rated at, but IIRC they have a 60 A fuse

Corsa one i have (but noe fitted the column!) has a 50a fuse.

Bringing this thread back from the dead, I've got plans on running this set-up on my 205 along with a heated windscreen.

 

I assume it recommended to upgrade my alternator? I think I'm running the weedier 8v one right now.

It's around 500w at flat chat, but substantially less most of the time.
