Heater Resistor/rheostat

Recommended Posts

benny205mi16

Hello,

I am just trying to check a couple of things before I buy a new one,

1st my heater will only blow on full, its all or nothing.

Which i think means it is the resistor.

2nd the price, I have found one on ebay and it is priced at £45 +p&p is this the right kind of price,

I am just checking, incase its one of the over priced ebay parts.

Thank you.

Anyone?

Can anyone remember the price they have paid for the resistor/rheostat?

Thank you

Hi buddy, £45 is well over the odds unless it is a brand new one?

Place a post in the wanted section, I am sure one of the lads on here will have one for you. £15 ish is more like the going rate for a working second hand one I would say.

Hello,

It is a brand new one,

I was thinking of going new so hopefully I will not get any more problems with it again for some time to come.

So do you think its a fair price for new?

Thank you

The connection on the back of the Transistor corrodes, clean this up and it might might, 9 times out of 10 it does
