I Serviced The Car Then...

Recommended Posts

On Wednesday I gave F375 a service - just oils, filters, plugs, check of brakes. Then I thought I'd give it a clean. Then I gave it a proper clean with lots of autoglym stuff. Then the wheels came off and I started cleaning up them and bits of suspension. Then I replaced a cracked wheel arch moulding. Yesterday I went on to tackle a couple of small electrical jobs like a blown bulb and non-functioning rear screen washer.

Now I've got a car in many pieces with a lot of the interior stripped cleaning, inspecting, checking all of that. When does this stop? Tell me I'm not mad!!

Beautiful day on Sunday, and my new heater matrix had arrived, so I connected it up. Then spent the rest of the day taking the interior apart, cleaning everything and putting it back together. It was like therapy, I only came in because it was starting to get dark! And I haven't done that since I was a kid. :)

Mine brought me a cheese sandwich while I was upside down in the footwell on Sunday. Then a cup of tea later. And I repaid the compliment by staying out far too long, messing up the sink when I got back and leaving a jumper stinking of 'garage' in the spare room.

Had to get the hoover out to make up for it!

But did you use the hoover on the house... did you resist giving the pug a quick going over with it?! lol
