Hi

just wondered if anyone has experienced big increases in there insurance premium since last year with all the rumours of car insurance going up!

Mine is due soon and i would just like to know what to expect

I ended up with a 10% increase but getting drive any car third party cover with flux. Couldn't get any quote cheaper than my payment last year, renewal increase was about 20% with direct line.

30% - 40% increase accross the industry unfortunately. Shopping around at renewal stage is most definitely worth it though.

My 325 beemer went from 220 to 450 needles to say I cancelled and went with someone else. Stilll ended up costing 280 though

Many people I speak too have seen an increase, I've been lucky in that my z4 has gone down £50 and the 205 has stayed the same. Hitting 30 and having 5 years ncb and living in a small town helps I guess.

all depends what the car is used for

you can still get classic policies very cheap if thats what the 205 is used for with limited mileage

but if its a main stream insurance company as a daily driver then an increase is likely.

Insurance for my 406 coupe went from 580 (650 over 12 months) to £1100!!!! (something like 1300 over 12 months!!) Need to ring up ASAP to sort something out because im NOT paying that!
