Where To Have My Bits Crack Tested?

Well I've ripped my engine down this weekend as I'm just not sure about it being 100% ok.

 

Although it made good numbers on the rr, it started spuffing some oil out on my track day and then there was lots of mayo in the pipes.

 

Being a bit cautious I have stripped the engine down and want to get the head and the block crack and or pressure tested.

 

I'm in the arse end of North Wales so will have to travel somewhere to get it done.

 

Has anyone had this done or do you know hwre I can take my bits to have this done.

 

I just want to know that what I'm putting back together is A ok.

pop into a local garage and ask who they use

 

Was never into cars when I lived up there and its been a while, so I can't remember many of the motor related establishments (went to secondary school in Port)

 

Though I found recently one of my school friends is a Mechanic at Madoc Citroen

 

And they have a wing in stock I need for my car!

You want to look on the rally forums. there may be someone who can recommend a place on the www.205challenge.com website. However any engineering place should be able to get your parts crack tested as they just need to xray it. Try ringing somewhere like http://www.weldpar.co.uk/ as they may be able to suggest someone more local (that was a quick google, not a personal recommendation)
