Tu To Xu Loom

After having a look at the knackered wiring in my engine bay today and having only my speedo and fuel gauges working since converting the xs to 1.9 xu I'm now thinking of buying a 1.9 loom and clocks, stripping the loom of whats not needed anymore and having gauges working again with a tidier engine bay and cockpit.

A few questions,

What would be needed to do this? I.e 1.9 harness, fuse box?

Would the 1.9 loom work on the xs carb fuel gauge sender or would I need to change tanks?

Any help as always much appreciated, Im just sick of my bodged loom and need to sort this because I want to go sprinting in it this year.

You will need the engine bay loom, fuse box and dash loom,

 

Im assuming your running carbs otherwise you would have had to fit most this wiring any way??

 

The sender units are the same too no worries there

 

EDIT, Two things, there is two looms behind the dash, you only need to replace the one that feeds the gauges, it goes right behind the dash and it all needs to come out to do!, the other loom does the stalks and switches

 

If you end up doing this can i have your old loom!!i went TU - XU - TU and have made a right mess of my current gauge loom after splicing in my emerald loom!
