Coolant Temp Sensor

I am after a new coolant temp sensor for a standard xu9ja but according to my local dealer they can no longer get them.

 

i have seen one on internet for a 405 xu9j4 engine would this be the same as mine?

ecu temperature sender is the same, 242 46, still available.

 

though cheaper from GSF.

If I were you I'd check if it's a Bosch sensor they supply as the last one I got was a pattern part and lasted 3 months. Normally I try and buy genuine if can but it was a Saturday afternoon.

I also went through two pattern sensors for an E36 before getting a refund and buying a genuine part for £4 extra.
