Should I Go For More Castor Degree?

Recommended Posts

Dear all,

I am working on my adjustable strut top plate again since the old one cracked after a few years of thrashing. Should I dial in a little static castor? My friend's garage's alignment machine couldn't measure castor anymore, so adjustable castor will not be useful anymore. I am thinking of offset the top plate to the rear by 10mm for extra castor and this will still give enough room for me to adjust the camber. Mine has PAS retro fitted so steering is not as heavy.

Any comment or suggestion?

Thanks.

I've got roughly 10mm more (at the wishbone), on the 306 and it feels much better tbh, even with no power steering.
