Got Head, Cams & Ecu, But What About The Bottom End?

Recommended Posts

I am collecting bits for my engine (2.0 Mi iron block), so far I have a 'group a' head & lumpy cams, Omex 600, GTi6 inlet, and will be getting a exhaust manifold and system from Miles.

I was thinking whether I should make it bigger capacity while it will be apart (maybe a 1.9Mi crank), but wondered what others would do? Keeping in mind that money is not endless, however, I could maybe get £500 if needed for the bottom end.

I have done a comprehensive suspension refresh/ upgrade and the brakes have been changed to GTi6 items, so I don't need to use the money there

I know it is not bigger cc, but what about a xu7? nice over square revy lump? and alloy so it keeps the weight down a bit.

Either 1.9 crank or block deck to bump up the CR, just watch valve to piston clearance.
