Be1 Vs Be3 Gearboxes Question

I have done a search but other than the change of reverse gear I cannot find much info.

Is the BE3 supposed to be stronger and the preferred type of gearbox to have?

Does Quaife do a LSD for the BE1?

No differance at all, The 16v cases are more rigid and that's it, late BE3 and BE4's have a stronger diff but unless you mix and match driveshafts the 205 ones won;t fit

and as for the Quaife don;t waste your money
