Petrolsniffer 3 Posted February 13, 2011 Hello all fellow 205er's Just wondering if anyone has any idea how much it'd cost to put these patches of rust right? As I know if I leave it it'll cause me more grief in the future I don't really want water seeping into the dash causing electrical havoc! omega 82 Posted February 13, 2011 removeing it is easy peel the rubber down from the inside and push out to replace you need some strong string to but inside the rubber to pull it back in,you would be able to do the job in a day.you will need some primer,etch primer,paint,sandpaper,kurust.sand/grind the rust back to bear metal,treat with kurust,wash off,prime,etch primer,then paint.
