Different Guage Wirng Looms

Hey guys,

 

A fairly simple question really, i know the GTI and XS use different wiring looms for the gauges, but do base model and XS looms differ? same applies for the diesel cars also..

 

I would guess, and hope they would just do 2 separate looms (gti and base) and just have redundant connectors and wires for things like the rev guage and glow plug ligh etc etc

 

 

Reason being im converting back to a std XS and need to pick up a loom from somewhere..
