Anyone know of any offers on at the moment for reduced price oil?

 

Need to buy 10L so it'll pay to shop around. I know supermarkets from time to time do some good deals - any on at the moment anyone knows of?

Not certain because i haven't for a while as i buy in bulk at a trade wholesalers, but i should think you're better off trying a motor factor than halfords for cheap oil, even with a trade card it only seems to knock off a few quid from the already extortionate price, £20-odd for a gallon of 10w40 semi, you're all mad!

best deal ive had on oil was in halfords, when you brought there oil you got a free screw driver set, i bought the oil just for the screw driver set!

check with your local pug/citroen dealer, they will often have Total oils in 20L containers that they sell to the trade at decent prices.

Asda had castrol GTX 10w40 and 15w40, 4 litres for £10 the other day, don't know if its still going on though. Plus, it doesnt have the best reputation as far as oils go.

Yes that used to be a good one, but they've got wise to it and won't do it on trade anymore... and the oil's still expensive.

I would say Asda, cheapest around anywhere by far. I work at a motor factors and it's cheaper for me to buy the oil from Asda than it is for me to buy it on the staff account at work.

Asda are currently doing Castrol Magnatec 10W40 semi-synthetic and 5W30 fully-synthetic for £10
