Ford Ka Problems

I picked up a 1999 Ford KA for my mother as she does the school run for us etc.

 

Anyway after a lot of welding and a partial re-spray its more or less sorted, but it failed the MOT on the rear fog light not working. It turns out that all the switches dont work. Fog lamp, rear heated screen, A/C and air recirculation. I bought a replacement panel from eBay but still no joy.

 

I know they were working a week or two ago as I used the A/C and heated screen when I picked the car up from the body shop. So my guess is now I disturbed something when I re-fitted the interior?

 

Does anyone have any ideas of where to start? I really need to get this sorted quickly!!

 

Maybe worth mentioning the warning/reminder buzzer for the lights stays on even when the door is closed now too?
