Airbox Mounting Bracket

Seeing as these are virtually non existent anymore I am thinking if making my own!

I have heard that people have done this before a I want to revert back to the original from my current k&n,

Has anyone on here made thier own or know of anyone that has? I need to know things like measurements and the shape of the original etc! Even better how you did it?

If it's poss could you get some pics up so I have a start at least?

by moondog bracket do you mean the bracket that bolts to exhaust manifold and cylinder head that the air box then fits to?

 

if so i have same problem with mine i have just used an L shape bracket from head to one of the studs on airbox for now until i can source a proper one,seems to be holding it secure at present.

What size is the bracket you are using? If it does the job then it sounds good!

I think the moondog bracket is the one just above the wildcat bracket that traps the mousepipe with a jubillee clip

 

The mousepipe is the one that gets the cheesy mayo stuff in it
