Oil Filler Cap And Plastic Thingy

Recommended Posts

justinv

Am putting all the stuff together and the filler bottle was never properly fixed to the inlet manifold as there was some kind of missing bracket. I found a bracket but from a ph1 engine which is funnily enough different from the one I have.

Mine is a phase 1.5 and obviously has the cylinder coil, but the inlet manifold is still a bit different anyone got a close up pic of how this could be rigged up.

Thanks

JUstin

I don't think they were ever properly fixed to the inlet.

What?! Welshpug has not come up with the part number we are missing. Are you feeling alright Mei?!

I've never had one of those on my cars, and always thought it strange. I'll find it and order one :)

My filler neck fits on to manifold directly without the bobbin, the cut out in bracket fits over the square block on manifold perfect and is secured with a m6 bolt and washer.

Hey

Thanks to you all, actually that what I was thinking to fit, but am looking for all the original small bits that should go with the engine. Also on the other end of the filler there is like a hook that fits where ?? anyone knows hehe :)

I think the hook is for holding a pipe on a different model.

The filler neck fits on all xu petrol engines in different models.
