I was told garages etc mean nothing these days ?

Thats is bad and mostly down to the amount of money been claimed of them no win no fee etc and the amount of money insurance now earns from investments of which is how they make their money.

You have to sell your ass to fill up with petrol, insurance rising for no good reason, fags cost the earth..... Yet I havent seen a cost of living increase in my wages for 6 years.

That's cheap, my mate was 18 when he passed and got a 1.2 R plate clio. It's costing him £2600 TPFT. And he spent days on the hone and internet tying to get quotes

I'm 18 and am paying £550 on parents policy for my XS. It was only just over a grand on my own! I think they just name a price sometimes.

You must be in a nice postcode? At 19 back in 2003 I paid £2400 for a 1.4 L reg Clio, TPFT.

Currently paying £600ish on a 106 GTI with 6 years NCB and 3 points while the 205 is off the road!

You had an accident though? Unfortunately even if it wasn't your fault i'm led to believe it will still affect your premium.
