Rear Brake Inbalance

Recommended Posts

HERMAN

Right just got my gti6 conversion finished and the car mot.

The rear callipers have been rebuilt, New disc's and pads fitted, all new brake pipes fitted.

It passed the mot but tester said I might want to sort the rear brakes if taking it on track as one side locks earlier than the other.

I have put a few miles on the car and given the brakes some grief to try to settle/bed them in but it is still trying to swap ends when braking hard.

The only parts that have not been changed are the compensator's/ reducers. I have checked it all over and the callipers are sliding OK and given it a second bleed.

Any thoughts on the problem welcome.

Thanks

Neil

If it was originally a 1.9, then yes, it'll likely be a compensator issue
