N/s Power Steering Gaiter Removal - How?

I need to replace the nearside steering gaiter (or bellow as Haynes calls it). The problem is I can't remove the old one, or refit the new one, as it is blocked by the power steering ram attachement.

Haynes doesn't explain how to get round this.

Can anyone help me with this, please?

Any help appreciated.
