Cat System To Groupe N?

Evenin' all!

I am a complete exhaust novice, and thought I would ask some advice...

I currently have a 1,9 Gentry, with a cat system, and have been offered a groupe N OMP (so no cat) line, which I rather fancy the idea of fitting!

Has this been done before? What are the potential pitfalls? I guess I would have to weld a female thread in to accept the lambda probe...

I imagine that this wouldn' t pass the MOT test, but luckily in France they are every 2 years, so swapping between the systems is definetely an option

No idea about the OMP but its not normally the best quality, But fitting I would just get a new D/P 2" thou not the phase 1 which is 1 1/2" and weld the Lambda into that, Easy decat then and pretty easy to swap around come test time
