Is now a good time for an entirely predictable "it'll polish out" comment?

I expect my roland garros to look pretty similar to that if i ever get to see it in the recovery yard.

205 vs truck = fire crew cutting the roof off :S

He is a very very lucky person.

Seeing how the back of a seat collapses in an accident makes you think twice about fitting fixed back bucket seats:

Six of one and half a dozen of the other - I know someone that owes their life to the seat back collapsing in an accident, which preventing them getting crushed when the car rolled and the roof collapsed. Had they been in a fixed bucket seat (and worse still, with harnesses) I have no doubt whatsoever that they'd be dead.

(to give you some idea, the top of the steering wheel was poking through the windscreen.... and the steering wheel/column hadn't obviously moved :) )

I thought my GTX looked bad when I hit an 18 ton lorry full of earth -

Got out without a scratch really, was very very lucky.

Just to confirm, it was not my fault, the lorry pulled out of a cross road stright infront of me.

The SL 343's :):D

With regards to bucket seats I was under the impresion you should never fit them without a roll cage for exactly this reason.

and also loads of crash videos of base model 309's. I dont think my lecturer likes them!! :)

needless to say i won't be purposfully crashing a 205 or 309 anytime soon!
