1.6 Gti Steering Rack

Hi, i have few questions about the problem, already mentioned in the topic. So- the play can be felt when moving a steering wheel or a wheel(tyre) either. i have already replaced both track rod ends, but nothing better.

 

So-what is the most possible and usual failure at these cars? inner steering arms or the rack maybe?

It is a case of have a good look. Check the column universal joint for play. Also check the inner steering arm joints- you will find these easier to check if you remove the gaiters first.
