Log Book Advice, Trader Etc

Just wondering if anyone would know this but if i buy a car from someone and its registered in my name then i sell it in say 4 weeks its obv going to have a extra named owner, is this the same if your a trader and use the trader section? I guess the log book would come back to you with dealer/trader name on it would it/ do's it?? Thus adding another "owner"? Also, is there anyone that buys and sells cars that use the trader section but dont have a vat number etc??

 

Basically im just curious how to keep my name off the log book (not that i have a prob with it on there) for say 4 weeks thus adding a extra owner!!

If you use the trader section it puts the car in 'limbo', taking it out of the previous owners name but doesn't add to the number of keepers.

So do you need to "register" as a trader? Or just put down your regular addy and "make up a business name"?

A car can only be classed as being in the trade for upto 6 months then it has to be registered to the trader/garage. Just thought I'd throw that one in there too.
