Securing Front Polycarb Windows?

Recommended Posts

Does anyone have a picture of how they have fixed their front polycarb windows in place. I know pop rivets/screws are the most common method but would like to see a few pictures to get the best Idea.

Cheers Steve

to be honest i got the window in tight and then just crimped the window runner down to stop the window coming back down. quite like this as it is a bit cleaner finish. just ran sealant around the window to help stop water getting in and causing condensation inside.

I'm in the process of fitting some and plan to get the window in place and then secure with 4 small nuts and bolts along the bottom of the window where it meets the door. I borrowed the idea from this thread

make sure you do use fixings of some sort and don't just silicone it in. i did that and when i was doing about 90mph the air pressure on the window pushed it out! very scary in pitch black on an empty dual carriageway.
