205 Turbo Diesel Powersteering

Hey guys, im just after some advice on how to adjust the tension of the power steering belt on a 205 TD?

 

Iv adjusted the brake boost belt and replaced the alternator belt but the powersteering one is slipping too...

Is it ran off same belt as alternator?

 

If so then they normally just have a bracket with a m6 bolt that gets tightened to increase tension,securing bolts on alt/pas pump whichever the bracket is on are slackened slightly first.

No, its run from the end of the camshat.

 

You need to loosen the two bolts clamping the pump on the gearbox bracket & then there is a 1/2" sq drive to release the tension, although it should loose most of it when you undo the pump mounting bolts.
