Hey guys, just thought i'd put it out there to see what colour i should paint my 1.9 alloys to go on my topaz blue 205. Was thinking maybe shade darker than standard maybe graphite with pearlescent finish perhaps ????? Anybody got any pics????? Wheels are shotblassed awaiting decision on the colour choice!! Look forward to hearing people's point of views! :P

I think dark wheels on a light colored car is always good! I'd say goodwood style. Grey with a polished lip. :P

Fair point just was maybe tad bored of standard colour, its ok but the standard silver is near enough same as any other car on the road with alloys - id like to be slightly different but not ott!

I reckon silver too, some people with light blue cars opt for black/dark wheels, personally yeah i'd go silver.

No offence to anyone, but I'm flabbergasted how many "what colour wheels" debates happen on this forum! Can no one decide for themselves what they like on their own car!?!?!

I think it's more that members value the opinions of the community on here.

I agree the lighter the car the darker the wheels and the darker the car the lighter the wheels, both look great imo.

Those black chrome look good too, i would not mind that on my inlet manifold etc. Is the black chrome more expensive due to its process etc ?

Nice......its so good to hear that people can spare the time to offer their opinions....very valued thanks! By the way has anyone had their alloys acid or chemically dipped before a wheel refurb or do many just stick with the sandblasting route????

Dare I say it, anything other than OEM silver or OEM goodwood rarely looks good. Sorry all, seems I am a purist after all :o
