Another Pug

I went to visit my newly purchased pug today to prep it for it's run back to my house tomorrow. It needs a bit of work as you can see (already sorted the headlamp and indicator though) but given what I paid for it I don't really mind :

 

 

 

 

I'm now the proud owner of two limited edition Miami's

 

I just need to resist nicking bits off it for my G-plater

I made the mistake of poaching bits off one pug to fix another and before I knew it I had a shell with just windows and carpet on axle stands. Don't make the same mistake!!!!

Well I managed to get it home today without incident thankfully. There is some crunching when going into 3rd and 4th but the other gears seem fine. I've had a search and it seems like this could be loose gearbox bolts or most likely a knackered synchro?

Suspension feels great, almost better than my other one. It seems to go some as well

As there's been a bit of progress on this, I thought I'd put up some fresh pics. So far it's had loads of new bits and will be going in for it's MOT in the next week or so, then it's up for sale to recoup some of my investment! It's cleaned up pretty well if I do say so myself

 

 

 

 

 

I'm still trying to source replacements fogs then she's pretty much done. She looks a bit high as she's been jacked up and not any chance to settle.

I'm not sure to be honest. It's not perfect (how many are these days) but it's far better than a lot i've seen. Saying that it will be competitively priced as my other pug needs a new rear beam and this baby is going to pay for it.
