Front Arb Bushes

basically when i purchased car the front ARB was not fitted it was just loose in car with a set of new pug bushes in a bag.

 

the bushes are different one is orange the other is blue does it matter which side the bushes go in?

have a look at them, check they have the finger sized indentation along one side... because if they are aftermarket poly bushes they won't fit.

 

which may be why they are in the car along with the arb.

 

if in doubt go down to pug and get a new set of bushes (that will also be poly) don't get the powerflex ones.. as stated above they won't fit because they miss the indentation.

They are genuine pug ones as they are still in the sealed pug/citroen bag,and they do have the little notch half way down.

Are the bushes side specific just a bit baffled why they are different colours if the same

one side definently (cant remember if both) has a notch in to clear a bump in the arb. Get it out and have a look... and you will see why they are different

Thanks just had a better look externally they are identical but the orange one does indeed have a groove inside.

Orange left, blue right but you can't mix them up because the left side of the arb has a bump to locate it in the right place & only the orange bush has this space inside the bush as you found out.
