Rear Break Pistion Wind Back Tool

As title I am going to make my own to to do this. Having looked at the ones on the interweb I can see you normaly have 2 pin sizes what is the distance between them.

I never use them if its on a pug with Bendix calipers, screwdriver across the slot and turn by hand suffices :(

 

Due to the profile of the pad carrier you cant get the windy type in there.

What Welsh says, I have a few wind back tools, but none of them fit, and you don't need one anyway as the pistons are easy to wind back.

 

Other cars you do need one, late Mondeos for example are a pig, hence I have an air powered one.

i only bought mine for a rover rear calliper but tbh i have used it quite a bit on various cars.

Fairly sure I did the same on one of these when I fitted new discs and pads a while back, I know the discs weren't cheap as the hub+bearing were integral :)

Its only a pad change and its for one of the boys in work. I will have to tell him the good news about the discs. Why the hell would they mack them like that.

(The last bit is rhetorical)
