What Color Wheels?

Recommended Posts

monkee87

I'm going to refurbish the wheels on my GTi which is a grey.

Just wondered what your thoughts are as to what color/style I should do them?

I did think about goodwood style as I love the two tone, but it'll be too much grey maybe..? If I go for silver, I think a dark silver might be good.

Deffo not going to be White, so don't even suggest it..

Pictures would be useful. :D

Thanks!

A nice sparkly sliver would be good for a steel grey. Some refurbished wheels can look a little dull.

I've got a graphite, and with white wheels it looks pretty good i think, especially when just polished, but they're an arsehole to keep clean...I'd go for silver I think, keep it looking stock.

Thanks guys.

I do like the look of the goodwood style wheels, but it's a bit too much grey.. :o

I think i'm going to go for the standard silver. If my car was lowered it'd make the silver wheels look so much better I think. :D

Time to get my spare shot blasted... Have to do them one by one..

Ah man, that looks heaps good! If yours is an F reg, it'll be a slightly different color to mine won't it? Mines got the paint code MOTW under the bonnet, which is what color the goodwood wheels are...

Having the wheels the same color would be way too much grey!

What about a dark silver and a silver lip? How do you think that'll look?
