As title, is there any way of pulling out a seat belt if it has gone fully in.

This happened to me when i was converting my 205 van to 5 seats. If I remember when I bolted them in they seemed to come out. Do they not have to be are the correct angle?

Edit - beaten to it!!

A correct angle is a must. If the belt is fully retracted, you may have to keep pulling and letting go to give the retracter a little room to work properly again. It is a little bit tilted no matter front or rear.

No sorry people even when bolted into the car at the correct angle they still do not work.

Also they are fully retracted, they will not go in any more.

Have you got the correct seat belt bolted into the correct position? Worth a try

+1 to what allye said.

They can be mixed up tho (drivers for passenger and vice versa), and if u haven't got them on the correct sides, they still wont pull.

Failing that, if you're careful they can be taken apart :) (don't quite remember how, and the plastic cover was slightly damaged, and I had a spare anyways), which might allow you to unstick them. Not sure how that works for MOTs tho.

My mate had this issue with a R5. There was a small tab that needed to be pushed in to reset the unit as it were. Have a look and see if theres anything like that on the 205, could well be.
