R1 Throttle Bodies Conversion.

Hi all.

 

Does anyone know what year carbs are the best to get? Iirc in like 2003 they became fuel injected carbs?? So I guess it'd be easier to use the older ones??

Also, anyone done a webber or throttle body conversion and kept power steering on there car? Kinda looks like the alternator will hit the manifold with carbs.

 

All on a 1.9 8v for reference.

If you're after a set, I have some GSXR bodies that I no longer need. I also have the materials to make an inlet manifold - correct length runners and laser cut flanges. They will need assembling and welding up, I'm sure Colin or Sandy would be able to do this for you.
