Recommended Posts

hi folks, got a problem with the mi 205, was out in the car monday night and to cut a long story short , i didnt see a huge puddle so plowed through it only with the passenger side wheels. car still drove fine, next morning i came out to go to work and it wouldnt go , i have ignition , spark plenty petrol , the car is turning over but wont fire into life. but no fuel is coming from the pump dont even think it is getting any power. any one got any ideas if something has come off the engine side or anywhere else. ? does the motornic ecu run a fuel relay.?

Yup, Mi16 management has a seperate fuel pump relay - probably located behind the drivers side headlight. If the loom was originally from a 405 then there is usually a fuse there as well for the fuel pump, but that isn't present on BX 16v sourced looms (or atleast not the ones I've seen)
