It isnt, If you pass an MOT then you have a certificate to say that the car is road legal.

How MOT stations check the spare tyre?

 

The last 7 mots that i've had the boot was never opened and the spare tyre checked.

 

I know pugs spare tyres are under the boot floor but the bmw I had it was in the boot.

 

They don't usually check the spare tyre because there is no legal requirement to carry one.

Sadly tyreweld is pretty useless. My dad got a flat recently and had to use 2 cans of it and it still wasn't solid enough to drive after a few miles.

but arent you supposed to pump up the tyre after using tyreweld to coat the puncture? Thats what the instructions say on my bottle.
