How Is The Throttle Cable Supposed To Attach To The Pedal?

As per the title, what should be used to secure the throttle cable to the pedal?

 

Much to my surprise my pedal went loose after the cable tie holding it on snapped off (what a bodge by the previous owner)!

 

Obviously I need it to be secure!

Howevere I can't see whether it is a nut and bolt or a clip that has broken off?

 

Does anyone have a photo of where the cable joins the pedal?

the clip is in the picture on the end of the cable, you'll need a new cable kit, about £15 from gsf.

Should have this at the end of the cable.
