Omp Cage Size

Anyone know for sure if the main hoop of an OMP cage will fit in a Mondeo estate ??

depends if the vehicle it's intended for has a larger interior than a Mondeo or not

Recently tried to get a cage main hoop (with the rear legs too) for a 205 into a new-age Mondeo Estate - answer was "no chance". It wasn't an OMP cage, though, so not sure if the rear legs were significantly different that it may be a different story for you....

It should do as it's not a great angle, I got a 306 SD cage in my 406 just and thats huge in comparrison

I managed to squeeze a 10pt OMP cage into the 205.....hardest part is the fixed rear and main hoop.

I squeezed my SD weld-in cage in the back of my Mondeo estate, so yes.

Approx measurements are

 

160 x 100 x 70.

 

Thats the width, height and then depth (from the B piller legs to rear stays).

 

 

Will need a touch more than that to allow for the poke outs top of B pillar, bit having just wrenched one out of a 205, am actually now convinced it will go in almost anything.

 

About to put it into a Vauxhall Corsa C to get it over to mine, that'll be the true test.

 

In fact it's worse than that, as I've got to try and get my mountain bike in with it...
