Ht Lead Layout Off Distributor

Trying to find out which order the leads come off the distributor, i think ive had mine put back on wrong by an over enthusiastic car mechanic (alarming i know)

please any links to a guide would be ideal

a search, would of found you this:-

 

this is for an mi engine but 8v is similar

 

 

the main point you need to know, is that the firing order is 1-3-4-2. No 1 is at the flywheel end.

Thanks yeh we got there in the end, Happily, each 'socket thing' had a number on it as to which ht lead and spark it corresponded to! made life a little easier, although we saw this after working out which did which from the picture above!
