Recommended Posts

Hey guys, I develped a miss fire on my mi16 205 on the exact same day the snow fell.. Are there any particular parts that are prone to not working well in the cold weather??

it may be over fuelling and exacerbated by the lower temperatures?

i did have a quick play with the fueling screw on the afm to see if i could resolve it but it didnt seem to have much affect.. I also sprayed some cold start solution in yesturda..didnt know if that might be making it run pants?

Might be worth changing the spark plugs if you have some spare. I had a spark plug give up in the snow once, was working fine until then but the lower temperatures killed it.

Yup. Coil packs hate the cold too.

Yea its gotta be something like that as i took the rotor arm/dizzy apart and cleaned it all up and that all looks pretty good! Cant see it being an earthing issue as it wouldnt just change overnight.. must be as above really, spark plug or injecter given up in the cold!

When I have some daylight to actually work on it thats my next thing to check.
