Siezed Engine?

I started up my 205 xs today after it having been sitting for about a month, it started striaght up with a little help from some jump leads. Then it stalled due to some snow driving, then refused to start. This is where the problems started, i tried to jump start it again, but it wouldnt even turn over, then the starter motor started smoking and smelling abit. So we tried to jump start it wilst towing it home, and when i droped the clutch it would give a knocking noise coming from under/infront of the pasenger side. Just wondering weather this would be because the engine could be seized?? If so what can i do, and if not any ideas on whats wrong with it. Thanks in advance

take out the spark plugs, put it in 1st gear and see if you can turn the engine over by rocking the car. if it wont budge then i would say you have cooked it.
