Applied some kid of RainX coating (some "Eagle One" made by Valvoline ..) , it did the job for a few weeks , but now , all that's left is some kind of foggy/film coating when i switch on the wipers during the rain , so -> i can't f**** see where i'm going ! .. it's "acceptable" visibility during the day , but at the night , it's a bloody nightmare .. like oil on the windscreen ..

 

In order to get it off the glass , i've tried :

- Acetone

- Cellulose thinner

 

... none of the above doesn't seem to work ... still having oily/film coating on the glass with wipers on

 

Any recommendations for another removal product please ?!

Change your wiper blades as well as these are probably contaminated, but clean your screen with thinners, or white spirits at the same time as fitting the new blades.
