Help Needed Badly

Hey everyone....

i have a problem with my heaters in the 205...they havent been working for 2 years now and ive just bought a new resistor and blower, fitted them and they are still not working.

does anyone have any other ideas on what it can be?

could it be the control panel on the dash?

im completely stumped on this now.

im pretty sure its not the matrix as i have never had the normal puddle of water you get when they go.

someone help pleeeease ;)

Yes it could be the control on the dash, sadly they are all getting old now and are not very reliable, I spent a few hours changing all three parts on my track 205 this summer, it all worked for a couple of months and now has packed in once more.

168 watts is nothing, it will be useless. An electric heater in a car would need to be connected directly to the battery with pretty substantial cable to be any good. Probably 500w or 1kw minimum.

Something like this would probably be better if you want to ditch the standard setup - http://www.t7design.co.uk/index.php?main_p...ex&cPath=65
