Cannot say too much bar what the press has said, but my Mate who's Rally car I look after came to a untimly end Sat night/Sun Morning resulting in running his dad over, thankfully both of them where out of the car or it would have been allot worse, Pain as he was leading overall

Taken from the BBC News

A pedestrian and a police officer have been injured in a collision involving a patrol car on a road in Norfolk early on Sunday morning.

A man suffered head and leg injuries in the incident at 0250 GMT on the A1075 north of Thetford and was taken to West Suffolk Hospital at Bury St Edmunds.

A police officer was also taken to the hospital with back and leg injuries.

Neither man has life-threatening injuries and the pedestrian's age is not known, a police spokesman said.

The police vehicle was not involved in an emergency response at the time of the incident.

The Watton side of the A1075 was closed for an investigation and diversions have been put in place.

The incident will be referred to Norfolk Constabulary's professional standards department and the Independent Police Complaints Commission, the spokesman said.

If this was a road rally, are you able to say why the police car was on stage?

Road rallys do not have stages, they are held on public roads unless they are closed roads which unlike Ireland or the Isle of Man and Scotland, England dos not have.!
