What " Pipework To Order For My Turbo Engine

what " pipework is best to order for my xu10j2te turbo engine? 2 or 2.5"? thanks.

Assuming you mean roll cage pipework, or exhaust pipe work, or inlet pipework, or water routing pipework, this is a pretty fecking vague post. Reread what you have written and repost tbh.

WRC Xsara used 2" and 206 2,5". Both have roughly 550Nm and 300hp at very low revs. I would use 2" as it will give little less turbo lag.

I would of used 2 inch if I had my turboing time over again, oh wait a minute

I do.. and Im using around 40mm for a 160bhp 1.6 16v engine (non pug)

not as easy as said above.....as i have just found out

 

it depends what size the throttle body is, as on my body it and the turbo, its all 3" but the inter cooler i have now bought is 2"

 

i have been told from a few people its not the best idea to reduce it, but on the plus side, u can run higher boost :D

Order the size of pipes to fit the turbo, the intercooler, and the throttle body. Unless you are particularly lucky you'll probably find you need a selection of different sizes, reducers, bends, to make it all fit. My car uses 2" and 2.5".

 

Only way to know is to start doing it and see what you need.
