Brake Vacum Hose

hi there, can anyone tell me where i put the vacum hose on the turbo engine....

 

its a 93 2.0 8v turbo, being an xm, it had the LHM rather than normal brake fluid, so dunno if theres a difference, ur shall i still use the old rocker cover??

The vac pipe will connect on to the inlet manifold somewhere,just have a look around there should be a metal connection sticking out.

any idea people? as this doesnt have a manifold as such, its an inlet manifold, then throttle housing, then the intercooler pipe....

 

fingers crossed i get her running this weekend....

On the inlet manifold (big silver Y shaped tube thing) as said. On the right side as you look at the front of the car, halfway up the inlet manifold should be one or two brass long nipples that point out,

use one of those for the brake vacuum hose, its the right size for the hose.

managed to find it, there were 2 pipes sticking out and ones thats inwards, all blanked off, so connected it there, cheers guys
