Another Great Car Forum

Last week I bought a new Discovery well new to me it is a TD5 late 1999 so on a V plate. Now it looks lovely but has a few hopefully minor issues so thought I better get signed up to a land Rover forum and came across Landyzone. So far I'm very impressed as they generally seem to have an excellent knowledge base and people with an interest in their cars. So it appears we are not alone out there! Obviosly Drivers is still the best but I won't tell them that.

A good friend loves his land rovers! Don't TD5's have their injectors going through the cam cover and can suffer from oil getting into the loom!?

The mother used to have a TD5 disco, was very nice until it aqua-planed on the motorway and rolled!

Good luck with it, whats it for?

I have to say that I prefer Landrovernet.com as I find that the style of writing on Landyzone really does my head in - especially as the "in-crowd" seem to write is some peculiar dialect, the sole purpose of which is to make you sound like you are from the deepest darkest part of the arse-end of nowhere.

Maybe the Disco section isn't too bad but the Series section and the non-type specific parts of the forum used to be terrible for it.

Some of the people are also very judgemental, as in it's their way, or you are a moron. Mostly though the people are very helpful and knowledgable just a few bad apples in my experience.

A simple search would have told you this.:o:P

So far I can only say good things but have only really looked into the Disco specific section and all very helpful.

Reason for the Disco is my old one caught fire, and I need a family vehicle that I can also use for work and towing.
