40mm Drop In Suspension Height

thinking of dropping the car 40mm on bilstein full kit. will this be ok for everyday use and will i have or get any problems with rubbing on the 15 inch tyres. 195/50.15

It will be fine on a GTi shell providing the bump stops are still present, but it will rub/catch on a base model shell due to the different arch profile.

Yep if your bump stops have gone and you have people in the back you'll likely have to replace the fuel filler pipe at some point.
