Heater Blower

Recommended Posts

Paul Smith

Hi

My heater blower has gone from being quite good to blowing like an asthmatic mouse, could this be fixable? Or is this a common problem

Thanks

Paul

Covered almost every week on here :D 9/10 it will be the heater resistor, located next to the blower unit, has a white plug going into it iirc, held in with 2 cross head screws.

Just look under the dash to the right of the glove box, you should see the blower unit, also held in with screws, worth dropping out and checking the bearings aren't shagged. Next to it you'll see the resistor unit just unplug it and it drops out after you remove the screws. I usually have a spare kicking about but think i sold my last one.
