Xu10j4rs Endfloat Measurement

hi

 

does anybody know the tolerances for endfloat on a xu10j4rs engine. ive just put new thrust washers, bearings and a re-ground crank. I didn't have my feeler guage when a removed the old crank so im not sure what it measured.

 

or is it the same is a xu10j4r, because i thinks that in the haynes manual

I think its the same as the XU10J4R, as its essentially the same bottom end. Thats what I used.

End float should be between 0.07 and 0.27mm ... says so in the PSA service book ..

same as what the books of lies states then for all petrol engines.

 

by playing around with the new and old thrust washers i managed to get .15mm endfloat, which is nearly in the middle so its good enough for me
